Event Details
Mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia affect not only the individual but also their families, relationships, and the wider community, including the church. Unfortunately, misconceptions, stigma, and a lack of understanding often prevent those who are struggling from receiving the support and care they need.
These workshops are designed to equip attendees with a better understanding of common mental health disorders. Participants will learn about the nature of these conditions, the challenges faced by those living with mental illness, and practical ways to provide informed, compassionate support.
By increasing awareness and fostering understanding, the church can become a place of acceptance, hope, and healing. Participants will explore how Christian communities can reduce stigma, build supportive relationships, and play a meaningful role in the recovery journey of individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.
