Since 2000, Yvonne joined a non-Government organization (NGO), The Bridge Communication as a volunteer counsellor, she has considerable experience in supervising volunteer counsellors and counselling teenagers, adults, pre-marriage couples, marriage couples and families. Yvonne has been appointed as a trainer for Pre-Marriage Education by Lembaga Penduduk dan Pembangunan Keluarga Malaysia (LPPKN).

She delivers talks to the schools, churches, corporate organizations and public on various topics ranging from parenting, couple relationship, stress management, emotion management, motivation, work life balance, career guidance to mental health awareness.

In March 2009, she and her partners have set up Enrich Counselling & Therapy Centre dealing with counselling, training and consulting. She has been invited as a guest speaker at AiFM, NTV 7 and TV8 to share her views on youth, marital, family, parenting and mental health issues. She is fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Cantonese.
